The days move slowly, as though through fog. Then before I know it another one is gone. I have so many ideas, each one worth ‘one miiiiiiillllion’ dollars, but they topple over each other until I am left with a trampled mess. Pearls before swine.
Who said to follow your dreams anyway? Oh, right. That was me and a bazillion others. I like that I don’t get spell checked on bazillion.
Today is another day for planning my work and working my plan, if I can finally become organized enough to do it. So many big things to look to and tiny details to swim in.
Have you ever followed your intuition? I mean REALLY followed your intuition…
That’s what brought me here to Denver Colorado, now living in a place that I have never even been to before in my life (unless you count waiting in an airport for my next flight). I was sitting in the backyard, a glass of wine in my hand as my mother and I look out at the horses, the sun setting on the horizon. She was wondering why she was living in Oklahoma. I was wondering why I was there too.
And then she said it: Colorado Springs. Something clicked inside and within a week and two days I was gone. I see the events unfold in the memory of my mind’s eye, each decision answered with an intuitive yes, until one month and one week later here I sit… following my dream.
